Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilitation

Living Sky Wildlife Rehabilition (LSWR) is a non-profit, registered charity based in Saskatoon. LSWR was formed in 2010 to "provide a safe place for injured and orphaned wild animals to grow and mend until they can return to their natural habitat while encouraging public tolerance and understanding of wildlife." They operate primarily with volunteers but are able to hire some summer students using government grants and donations during their busiest season.

LSWR accepts all wild animals brought to them and transfer out to appropriate rehabilitation facilities when needed. LSWR works mainly with small animals and birds at their facility. They provide a full range of treatment services to help rehabilitate these animals to heal any injuries, provide specially formulated diets to meet their nutritional needs and carefully handle them so they are able to be released back to the wild.

Living Sky also has three trained Environmental Educators who work with different species to provide community-based educational programming with wildlife.
