SaskPets is an organization that provides access to a pet-centered, carefully curated community for pet owners, pet organizations and pet businesses within Saskatchewan.
SaskPets is Saskatchewan's Pet Community and more that connects pet owners with local businesses, products, services, rescues, activities and events that are all about our special family members, our pets!

Paige Kowal - Owner/Creator
I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and have been passionate about working with them since I was able to, especially dogs. I currently have 2 dogs that I adopted from rescues within Saskatoon. Lily is around 8, I call her an Australian Shepherd, Husky mix. Bindi is about 7 and best guess would be a Red Heeler, Whippet mix.
I have worked in a variety of areas in the pet industry and have gained a lot of experience and knowledge. I owned and operated my own Dog Training business for 10 years, worked as a Pet Sitter, Dog Walker, Dog Daycare Attendant, Boarding Kennel Attendant and worked in a pet health store. I have also volunteered with different rescue organizations in Saskatoon as well as a large Animal Sanctuary in Utah called Best Friends. Throughout my experience I have gained a lot of knowledge about many different types of pets as well as the different types of pet businesses and organizations we have in our province. I have learned about the many things that we are doing well, things we could add or improve on and ways to help out in our communities.
I wanted to build a community where I could share what I have learned and to get others involved to share their knowledge; a place where people can support each other, give back to their community and find fun and different things to do with their pets. This is the goal I have with SaskPets and I hope that many others will join this community to collaborate, learn, educate, support and have fun!

SaskPets is proud to bring you our own line of handmade pet products focusing on providing quality, affordable products that you and your pets will love. Sourcing ingredients and supplies locally and sustainably when possible and collaborating with other small businesses in our province.
Creating products that complement those already on the market and providing unique and different options available locally.
We want to provide a line of products you can trust, backed by research and education! Paige has taken multiple courses on Canine health and Wellness and wants to create products that work well and are actually good for your pet. Everything from treats and chews to full meals, accessories, wellness products and more!
