Eidolon Dog Training is a Saskatoon based solo Dog Training company started by Becky Preiner in September 2024, who's been Training for 10+ years, and in the industry for 12.

She focuses on helping owners turn their dog into their Ideal Dog, using the ideal style for each individual dog.

Eidolon offers private sessions, group classes, and in-home day training, where Becky comes to your home and works with your canine companion in the environment that they spend the most time in.

Eidolon tailors each program to each individual dog and owner, knowing that each dog requires their own special approach to learning.

What is your approach to training dogs?

We use a Positive First approach when it comes to training the dogs we work with and own.

Positive First describes trainers who use Positive Reinforcement (such as food or play) as their preferred method of teaching, as long as it remains effective. Only when necessary adding negative reinforcement (like leash or e-collar pressure) to enhance clarity, and using corrections only when the dog ignores known commands.

What are your most popular services?

Our Basic Obedience Essentials group class has been wildly successful in giving owners and their dogs/pups a solid foundation in the basics of training their furry friends.

Our Manners on the Move program has also been super popular. MotM is where our trainer come in for 3-10 30 minute sessions and takes your dog on solo walks, teaching them better leash abs walking manners to help make your walks easier and stress free.

Do you have any certifications?

Yes. I originally attained my Master Trainer certification from Canada West Canine Centre in 2014, at the time the only university level accredited dog training school in Canada. Since then I have continued to expand my education by taking seminars online and in person to better serve my clients and their dogs.
