Running Wild Rescue
Description
Running Wild Rescue is a volunteer-run Non-Profit Organization based in Moose Jaw and Regina that was established in 2018. The majority of animals they rescue are from the prairies. They have fosters across Western Canada from Manitoba to Vancouver Island and they partner with multiple Cat Cafes in BC and offer adoptions across Western Canada.
Types of Animals they work with: Dogs, Cats, Rabbits & Other Small Animals
If you would like to volunteer with Running Wild Rescue you can do so by:
- Fostering
- Temporary Foster/Pet Sitter
- Pet Taxi/Errands
- Fundraising Events
- Adoption Events
- Wedding/Event Bartending Fundraisers
- Walk/Socialize Animals
- Help behind the scenes with graphics, social media, writing content, photography, etc
Running Wild Rescue is always looking for volunteers to help foster animals as there is no short supply in animals in need.
Running Wild Rescue accepts fosters across Western Canada. They supplies all necessary food, supplies and veterinary care including spay/neuter. You can learn more about becoming a Foster on their website and check out what is expected from you!
Running Wild Rescue relies on donations to help rescue and care for animals in need. They are ALWAYS in need of:
- Financial donations to cover the costs of vet bills
- Cat Litter, Litter Pans & Scoops
- Wet & Dry Dog, Cat, Puppy & Kitten Food
- Gently used kennels, crates & Large Cat enclosures (they use these to set up adoption events or quarantine sick kitties)
- Towels, bedding, other linens
- Food & water dishes
- Puppy pee pads
- Leashes, harnesses & collars
- Toys
- Poop Bags
- Cat trees and scratch posts
- Training aids
