Pretty in Pink Animal Rescue is a Non-Profit Organization located in Prince Albert that started in 2024. They are a frontline animal rescue devoted to helping stray, abused, neglected, and unwanted domestic animals. They mainly help northern and remote rural communities North of Prince Albert but also spread their reach to some areas near North Battleford and Melfort as well.

If you would like to volunteer with Pretty in Pink Animal Rescue you can do so by:
- Fostering
- Temporary Fosters/Pet Sitters
- Pet Taxi/Errands
- Fundraising Events
- Adoption Events
- Walk/Socialize Animals
Pretty in Pink Animal Shelter is always looking for volunteers to help foster animals as there is no short supply in animals in need.
Fosters must apply and be approved by their board of directors. Indoor homes, with fenced yards, close to a vet are preferred but again, every situation is different. They prefer Fosters to be located in or near Prince Albert but those located in other areas of the province may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Each animal in care has individual needs which requires a wide range of fosters or flexible fosters willing to help (Ex: post op care, injuries, rehab, behavioral issues etc) Fosters need to provide a loving, caring home and are willing to help the dog become a dog after just “surviving” in the world alone or in the vulnerable situation they were in and understanding that the animals need time to transition and become comfortable with their new life. All supplies and medical care are provided by the rescue.
Pretty in Pink Animal Rescue relies on donations to help rescue and care for animals in need. They are ALWAYS in need of:
- Monetary Donations
- Wet & Dry Dog and Cat Food
- Pee Pads
- Supplements
- Bowls
- Collars & Leashes
- Kennels
- Cleaning Supplies including bleach
- Dog Houses
- Straw
