How often should I bring my pup in for grooming?
The frequency of grooming depends on your pet's breed and coat type.
For curly coated dogs, every 4 - 6 weeks to avoid matting.
For short coated dogs, every 6 - 12 weeks depending how much they play & are active outside during the year.
For double coated dogs, every 6-8 weeks to help reduce shedding & avoid an impacted coat.
What is your expierience in the industry / do you have any certifications?
My expierience in the grooming industry started 10 years ago as a Bather for a Dog Daycare facility. By 2020 I started to dive into the realm of full body cuts. By 2023 I finished both my Groom Tech & Pet Groomer certifications through Paragon School of Pet Grooming & even won Planet S Magazines Groomer of the Year as the sole groomer for the Dog Facility i worked for at the time. I went on to be mentored by a few different groomers in the city between 2023 and now which leads us to Pawsitive Touch Grooms.
Do you offer any specialized skin/coat treatments?
Yes, we offer the Nagayu CO2 Hydrotherapy, which is a revolutionary spa treatment designed to stimulate your dog's circulatory system. I have been taking my dogs to Jazz for years, and it’s safe to say I always will! She is trustworthy, kind, communicative and compassionate to you and your pets. I know my babies are happy and loved when with her! I highly recommend Jazz especially if you have a pup that needs a little extra attention or has specific needs, she works hard to create a relationship with them to ensure each individual pup is comfortable! Her new salon is the perfect spot for one on one grooming, no overstimulation so she can put all her focus onto your dog.
