Lumsden Valley Cats (LVC) is a volunteer-run Non-Profit based in Lumsden and was established in 2023. They mainly operate within the RM of Lumsden but will occasionally support neighboring communities if they have the resources available.

Lumsden Valley Cats is run by 5 volunteers who are local to Lumsden. In less than 2 years, they have helped 120 cats and kittens and raised nearly $30,000! Each cat/kitten that comes into their care can cost anywhere from $300-$500 to sterilize, vaccinate, microchip. Medical cases cost much more.
