Types of Animals they work with: Dogs, Cats & Small Animals (rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, etc)

If you would like to Volunteer with Humboldt and District SPCA you can do so by:

  • Walk Dogs
  • Socialize with Cats and Small Animals
  • Kennel Maintenance – clean out and set up cat cages and dog kennels
  • Fundraisers – hold your own or help with one of theirs

Humboldt and District SPCA is always looking for volunteers to help foster animals as there is no short supply in animals in need.

Though they have a shelter to house animals, when they are low on space, or have animals that are too young, sick, injured, under socialized or emotionally stressed to survive in the shelter environment they need Fosters to help care for these Animals. You can fill out a Form on their website to sign up to become a Foster Family for animals in need.

Humboldt and District SPCA relies on donations to help rescue and care for animals in need. They are ALWAYS in need of:

  • Monetary Donations
  • Wet & Dry Dog and Cat Food
  • Puppy Pads
  • Purina Pro Plan FortiFlora
  • Cleaning Supplies (paper towel, baby wipes, cleaners, bleach, etc)
  • Leashes
