Description
Northern Transitional Dog Rescue (NTDR) is a frontline emergency dog rescue based in Northwest Saskatchewan. Treaty & Métis founded, they strive to provide up to date evidence based education on the dog crisis in Northern Communities. They operate a sanctuary on 160 acres near Dorintosh.
Types of Animals they Work with: Dogs
They provide emergency housing, transportation and vet care to dogs in crisis. They also provide:

- Partnerships with reserves
- Spay/Neuter and return program
- Food program
- Removing injured or aggressive dogs
- Straw houses
- Basic first aid, vaccinations and deworming
- Coordinating Veterinary care to the community
- Dog Training
